CARL MARKS OPPORTUNITY FUND WILL EVALUATE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES THAT MEET CERTAIN INVESTMENT CRITERIA:

• Later-stage/established company, with positive operating results
• Strong management team
• Use of funds for expansion, acquisitions, or recapitalization

The process continues with the submission of a comprehensive business plan that includes:

• An executive summary
• A detailed description of the company’s products and/or services and distribution channels
• An industry overview with specific discussion of the company’s principal competitors
• Historical financial statements for the past three years
• Projections (including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow) for a minimum of three years
• Management biographies

Carl Marks Opportunity Fund provides quick decisions for interested parties. When the parties have agreed upon a mutually acceptable structure, a commitment will be issued subject to the completion of our due diligence. Upon satisfactory completion of due diligence, documents are drawn and a closing is scheduled.
