Carl Marks Advises National Investment Managers Inc. in Recapitalization Process

June 16, 2010 (New York) – National Investment Managers Inc., a nationally-based and regionally-operated retirement plan administration and investment management company, has retained the investment banking group of Carl Marks Advisory Group LLC to act as financial advisor in the company’s recapitalization efforts.
Founded in 2004, National Investment Managers is a holding company and consolidator of pension plan administration, investment management and insurance businesses. The company is working with Carl Marks to explore a variety of strategic options to increase liquidity and maximize value for shareholders. Possibilities include refinancing current debt, raising capital or selling the company to a third party.
